The Dercos Nutrients Detox Conditioner is the conditioner of Vichy’s Dercos Nutrients range which also includes a shampoo and a dry shampoo spray. It comes in a sleek 200ml dark green tube with an opaque white lid that can be easily opened yet closes securely.
Hair Type Tested on:
We tested this conditioner on oily hair alone after the usage of a regular shampoo, and as a routine alongside the Dercos Detox shampoo to compare results.
This conditioner has a very light and pleasant mint scent that leaves a cold refreshing feeling instantly after being applied to the scalp.
This conditioner has a clear color and a normal consistency, it is neither too thick nor too thin. Just like any conditioner, it does not lather well but is easy to rinse off.
When used alone after washing hair with a regular shampoo, this conditioner does indeed have an oil-control effect over scalp. Hair doesn’t get oily as fast as it would normally do. On another hand, when combining it with the Dercos Detox shampoo, it gave optimal results and a maximal result.
Both products being silicone free, they left hair looking much healthier non-greasy yet maintained a healthy shine instead of drying it out and leaving it dull.
Silicones in hair products create the temporary illusion of healthy hair, but as they continue to build up layer by layer, hair gets weighed down, can appear greasy, dull and lacking the smoothness and shine that the silicones are meant to provide in the first place. That’s why it’s always better to use a complete haircare routine that is silicon-free especially for oily hair.
The Dercos nutrients detox conditioner officially sells at 24.5 USD for a capacity of 200 ml which is comparable to L’Occitane Aromachology Revitalizing Fresh Conditioner sold at 30$ for 250ml .
We should also mention that a small amount is enough to cover entire hair, so the bottle lasts a long time, hence it’s relatively worth it’s price.
